I'm trying to follow this guide https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/developer/python/azure-sdk-authenticate-development-environments to enable authentication for our datalake for development process (ie. running locally containers and not in azure env) but none of this steps worked.

I'm currently trying the Authenticate with a service principal and this is the steps I did:
1. create an app registration and give permissions to datalake storage (permission is granted by datalake storeage)
2. on storage account, give the app role based permission (Contributor)
3. run a test code setting AZURE_CLIENT_ID, AZURE_CLIENT_SECRET, AZURE_TENANT_ID with app info. Credentials are given …
