Docker: An open source project to pack, ship and run any application as a lightweight container reddit.com

Hi I am running a bunch of containers and wanted to be able to put a container to sleep if theres not been any network activity in a given time period and then wake up if there is activity. Main reason for this is resource optimization - I have a few containers that have NFS mounts to my NAS - it would be nice if they could disconnect when inactive, and reconnect when needed.

Does anyone know of such a feature/capability that could make this feasible?

Thanks!
