Hello,

We're writing an API that takes PDFs from one server A and transfers them to another B, both of which are written in PHP. We need to tell if the file has been changed at all from A to avoid duplicating the copy.

I would like to get the checksum of the file on A and store the checksums on B and compare it to future possible changes to A's file. That way, I don't have to copy twice, and I'll be able to tell if even one letter …
