Docker: An open source project to pack, ship and run any application as a lightweight container reddit.com

When building up a a set of containers for multiple Django site using docker compose, do all dockers have to live in folders under the docker-compose project? I am trying to tie multiple container builds together into a single build project, but want to manage each docker in a separate git folder with a build git folder for the docker-compose project.

Is this the right way to do things?

>Depot ->Docker1 (git repo) -->app -->Dockerfile ->Docker2 (git repo) -->app -->Dockerfile ->deployment_DockerCompose (git repo) -->Docker-Compose.yml -->.env

I tried to do this …

docker docker compose git
