Docker: An open source project to pack, ship and run any application as a lightweight container reddit.com

im trying to start using docker by building a pretty basic homer webpage to access stuff but i keep running into this problem where i cant access the webpage from my PC. (to clarify, homer/docker is on an ubuntu server and im accessing this page on a windows PC)

i built the container, assigned it a different port (8081:8080), named it, and the logs show this:
127.0.0.1 - - [14/Jan/2022:13:34:11 +0000] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 3112 "" "Wget"

127.0.0.1 - - [14/Jan/2022:13:34:41 +0000] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 3112 "" "Wget" …
